‘Growth By Referral’: A Madison-Based Business
Networking Organization tops $5.6 Million in referrals
Just 20 months since its inception, 18 member group tops the
$5.6 Million Milestone
MIDDLETON, WI – Growth By Referral, Inc (GBR) an independent
networking group of local professionals, announced today that
its members had passed a total of 5.6 million dollars in successful
business referrals. Over the last 20 months, the group members
have exchanged over four-hundred qualified business leads with
truly impressive results.
“It’s nice to know that there are seventeen other business professionals
handing out your business cards and pointing clients in your direction when
they hear a need for your services”, reflected Scott Petersburg of Petersburg
Insurance in Middleton and President of GBR Inc. “We have a diverse
group which brings in a great cross-section of prospects, the numbers speak
for themselves”, adds Petersburg.
In order to maximize the number of referrals for each member,
the organization focuses on recruiting professionals from diverse
business disciplines. Additionally, to help its members find
out more about each other, GBR has built a Web site (www.gbrinc.org)
to house biographies, operational information, and recent referral
statistics.
GBR members meet every Tuesday morning at 7:45am in the downstairs
dining room of the Bavaria Family Restaurant in Middleton, WI. ‘Growth
By Referral’ is accepting new membership applications from
local professionals of various business disciplines and those
wanting more information are encouraged to attend a weekly meeting
to see how things are structured. By encouraging a group member
from each discipline to join, GBR maximizes the amount of leads
presented to its members, while deepening the pool of resources
available to them. GBR only allows one member per profession
in order to maintain a high quality referral group.
